Welcome to the Making Of The  Faking News!
21st century people, huh? Inventions, discoveries, luxuries, technologies, liberties, facilities: sounds like an intelligent world, eh? Lets try scaling it!
One of the most notable feature of this era is the well developed and advanced communication system; be it the earth to space or one nation to another internet, cellphones and television have introduced us to a smaller world. And when I say so I have a double meaning to the statement- first one is the obvious positive perception of connecting the people globally and effortlessly; but my second and a more underlined interpretation is that of a small and ill psyche. We boast of an efficient 24hr tv, phone and internet system these days; but the matter is how we are enhancing.
I will not discuss the lieud mms that have black listed the use of cellphones. But television is a thing to discuss today. And here I'm not going to criticise the telly- czarina Ekta Kapoor or any of those unending glycerine teared daily soap that attract a million indian households; they come with a board (which is least viewed) of fiction! But let us consider one of the most important mass communication tool of NEWS! (through electronic & print medium)
How advanced are we as news reporters today? Well here in india, we have more than 3times a dozen 24*7 newschannels. And even more than 10 times of the total newschannels we have newspapers and online news portals in english and all the other vernacular languages. There is radio in 80% indian households, internet in not more than 5%, tv and newspapers manage to reach out everywhere possible and impossible. So yes! The reach of NEWS is in at least 92% indian households! But the  question still prevails how successful are we as news reporters today??? Its an irony that I have to say we're not as successful as we are in terms of reach! Because if we view the Indian media today  it would be more appropriate to term it as News Makers instead of News Reporters!
One of the recent report on one of the big story in the present time left me stunned for a while; the report had a common sharing wall paper of one of those attitude quotes between a relationship where the guy was pleading while touching the girls feet! The headline was this shows the Girl's character; in no defense to the woman accused such pictures are widely shared on social networking sites these days, people share them out of mere humor/fun with no intended meaning! Who would ever imagine that a picture shared out of random fun would make it to the headlines giving their character certificate? Next day the same newspaper talks of the woman wanting to hide her real age- 38!
Just a couple of days ago as the Cricketing Maestro Sachin celebrated his 39th birthday after achieving the incredible feat of a 100. International centuries, a very popular news channel aired a half an hr program that ridiculed me, the show was titled- 'Kyu Roye Sachin Apne Janamdin Par'. It talked about Sri Sathya Sai Baba's demise last 24th April whom Sachin firmly believed in and cried relentlessly out of grief on this occasion.
The disastrous shows such as Team India ke Paanch Pandav during the World Cup last year are beyond discussion, since that particular channel has for very long emphasised on exaggerated and expanded news making! And yes! I still continue to use the term News making instead of delivering or Reporting!
Since maximum Indian celebrities are on twitter these days; it too has become more of a news making platform than a its original purpose of social networking. Well if you remembered the infamous Ayesha Takia- Sidhharth Mallya spat then yes! You're already getting my point!
To the fact that anything spiced up on tv sells- even tv stars manage to make headlines; and their weddings (slpy if rumoured to be one of those secret weddings) are sure to get some coverage space!
Talk about our politicians; they may not be performing true to their post but they are quirky enough these days to make it to the front page of a leading daily and of course the latest hot trend of pride to make it to the twitter trends!
Reading a newspaper or even checking out the news channels for that matter (which have more advertisements than content) makes you believe that you live in a practically screwed nation- politically, economically, criminally, infact totally! Has the goodness vanished??? Don't we have any of it to highlight; to restore some hope???
Despite of having some very capable and respectable journalists in our country the product that mainly goes to the larger masses is of an extremely poor quality; we are providing lesser news and more of marketable sensationalism to an entire nation filled with not so rational thinkers!
So my question to our Respectably Responsible Journalists and the entire News Industry sitting right out their behind and before the Camera lens, 10years....20years or whenever in future down the line when you sit in front of your Television Sets what would you expect from your kids (or those their age) who would over take your position of News Persons? Deliverers/ Makers or Sellers would come in only after you choose to select anyone and train them so for their time to come!
That's all for Today!
Stay tuned for the next program right after this short commercial break!

@YUVSTRONG12- SINGH IS KING!

Yes! Yes! Man of the Moment: YUVI is back home, where to he belongs! He had been suffering from a rare germ cell cancer & was under a 3month long chemotherapy treatment in the US. He's fought back, he's braved it & he's shown us that SINGH IS KING!
In India the very mention of Cancer can get the chills in any person. And not many have the guts to fight it back.
Exactly a year ago, it was the same man who was still the Man of the Moment after he won us the ICC Cricket World Cup with his stupendous Man of the Tournament performance. I still remember crying along when he burst out into those tears of joy hugging his team mates after the big victory. And I'm sure most in the nation felt a similar sudden flow of tears. Today I smile along this Inspiration as he fights back another battle, the battle of his life! & along smile millions of Indians who love this Notorious Prince of Indian cricket.
Could be mere coincidence or the call of fate? YUVI had done a commercial with Birla Sunlife Insurance: ''Jab tak balla chal raha hai tab tak that hai'' Who would've ever imagined that months of being the nation's World Cup hero, YUVI would be fighting against the villainous Cancer with another its uncertainties. There was sympathy, there was uncertainity, there was pity; there was fear, there were prayers & of course there were rumours. But its time you put it all to rest!
Cuz we're not talkin about a quitter- COME MEET THE FIGHTER!
YUVI kept up to his spirits; his inspiration forever had been another of his kind itself, another warrior Lance Armstrong! He took inspiration, he kept his spirits high; he also did the job of cheering those up near & dear to him! Fans dint have to miss out any details of their fighter cuz twitter kept the updates and pictures coming as the champ went to the US to get his 3month long chemotherapy right! Those tweets, those quotes, those chin up posts talk of this man's -Never Say Die spirit! Like the loved team mate as he had always been, he kept in touch with the teams blown off performances & applauded & cheered each victory! All his close friends right from Sachin to Bhajji were awed by that positivity, a true sign of a fighter.. Cuz there is never a fighter bigger than ur positive attitude. Kept in touch, kept em high! Bounced back fit soaring high!!! The fighter was always the spoiled pampered favorite; but this particular win was even bigger than what he marked in a year that went by. He's back! He's back! And yes we have our latest mantra- YUVSTRONG! YUVSTRONG! Yes champ! You've done again all the way! All the way.. & now its not just pampering love; for YUVI its respect & respect edged in our hearts! There's an even more special place for him in our hearts!
One person to thank I won't forget; its YUVI's best women- Dear Mummy whose stood by him all the way! Mothers love & blessings have magical powers they say; today they've again proved their prowess!
Can't wait to see this Prince back bay...next battling against the spinners & batsman; getting victorius in his game!
We love you & we'll stand by ''YUVSTRONG'' will be our mantra from this day!
Just like Kapil Dev says & I totally agree, "YUVI IS THE HOTTEST CRICKETER EVER"

& HE FURTHER TURNS THE HEAT WITH THAT BALD LOOK!

YUVI! YUVI!

(ton) DULKAR
12th march, 2011 was the last time that India’s Cricketing God, the one and only Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar scored his last elusive 99th International Century; not that this mark was a record set by some else person but yet 100 has always been the most miraculous no, leaving behind the rest 99!
Same was the case when the entire nation was pinning for that exclusive 100th international century marked to the Sachin’s credit as if that was the only one feat  that would make him a wonder; although he has every possible Cricketing Record to his name. Yet this one was the dream of the nation!
And the dream was burdening enough for this man, who never cared for records and achievements. All he ever wanted was to serve his nation and play for the pride of his team like he’s been consistently doing without the packages of ego and controversy.
Every time that he went out there in the middle of the field with his cricket blade the entire nation; in fact all of the cricketing world and of course the large web of Media surrounded him with immense expectations. And yet even after scoring 99 centuries that one century was sooo difficult to score! There were more than 6 incidences when the Batting Maestro lost his wicket right close there in the 80’s and 90’s. And after a whole of 10months without a century People started writing of the great man. Seniors of the game suggested him to retire publicly and as usual the man himself said nothing!
He was under immense pressure, has family was also under the same- cuz all that people were talking about was that one ton which was yet to come and not the how the 99 came.
But like I mentioned in my last post WE ARE SACH OPTIMISTICS! The drama was- Which was silently considered as if the Master Blaster’s last series in ODI he scored that big run! 16th March, 2012 a year and 3 days later Sachin Tendulkar became the first ever Cricketer in the World to score a CENTURY OF CENTURIES! Celebrations were instant and the man proved himself yet again!
CONGRATULATIONS SACHIN!
In a post match interview Sachin mentioned that he felt 50kg’s lighter!
What else could be that burden of 50kg’s than the hopes of a nation, hopes of people.
And you might have seen how he played the next match against Pakistan! Flawless and MASTER CLASS!
Probably you already know why SACHIN IS THE GOD OF CRICKET & CRICKET IS THE RELIGION in my country!
We love Sachin!! Undoubtedly in abundance! And whenever you see him entering the stadium; no barriers of age, gender or nationality- EVERYONE LOVES SACHIN!
To me & to many others CRICKET IS SACHIN!
As long is he plays Cricket will be a heart beat! Cuz when he walks out of the field every heart skips a beat; every heart gets a shock!!
Yet its just one in a million and will always be the one! Though he remains to be the model of that every kids who plays in the streets and by lanes of the country!
SACHIN!
SACHIN!
SACHIN!
SACHIN!

WE’RE SACH OPTIMISTICS!
I am an Indian
Cricket is my religion
Sachin is my god
And hope is my prayer!
This is probably the voice of that every Indian who cherishes the game of cricket. In a country like India there are only three things which make up the dinner table discussions, apart from family affairs of course- politics, bollywood and cricket.
These are issues which have no replacement, no boredom and absolutely no end. The tone of discussions may change from appraisals to criticism and vice-versa; but these discussions are unending! No matter if the Indian team is losing the Australia series, no matter how senseless a film Salman Khan acts in, no matter whether the parliament approves the Lokpal bill or not the discussions on these topics is like time which never stops. It keeps ticking; all that changes is good and bad!
8 months ago India won the Cricket World Cup after 28years! All the eyes were glued to the television sets on that exhilarating date of 2nd April, 2011 and many switched off their sets after the wicket of Sehwag and Sachin was gone. But yes! We won the game!!! We won it!!!
The entire team dedicated the most prestigious achievement of the cricketing world to their most favourite and respected team mate SACHIN TENDULKAR!

He needs no introduction. He lives in the heart of every kid playing their most favorite game- cricket in every galli-nukkad of this country. His records run like time. More than 15000 test runs, more than 18000 ODI runs and 99international centuries with 57 half centuries!
He is the fear of every bowler, cause he has an answer to every tactic! 22 years in the game and still as enthusiastic and energetic like a 16year old. He has seen it all.
And so has the world seen him and all his miracles.
Every time he has taken the field in the last 8months, all the people in the world are waiting to witness that historical moment. The moment of the 100th ton!
100th 100…! No has even come close to 80.
And that is probably why he is loved and looked upto by not just the aspirants but those who live and have already lived the game.

Twice in his 90’s, thrice in 80’s and once in his 70’s in his last eight months of cricket has the MASTER BLASTER missed that moment of history!
I woke up at 5 for one of the previous match against Australia cause I knew that Sachin was at the crease! Unfortunately, he lost his wicket at the score of 80! But trust me, I had no regrets; watching him play so well even when the rest of the team was diminishing so rapidly was a treat and a ray of hope!
His love and passion for the game all reflect in his game itself!
But the wait for the #100th 100 is an exciting one! It is so much of pride even just its thought, the real achievement will be a blessing indeed. But again we are the “melodramatic” Indians. Life without drama is as good as life without spice. Every time that Sachin loses his wicket there is an entire line up media channels is there to add salt on the wound by replaying the footage of his dismissal time and again!
Trust me at that point of time those news channels are no less than villains!
Add to all of this the disastrous performance of team Indian- first on the land of the queen and now in Australia! Heading towards a shameful whitewash-

But as I told you- we are a nation of SACH OPTIMISTICS!
Whether it’s a matter of the #100th ton or India’s return to the good form of game!!!
It’s a matter of time, a matter of time, a matter of luck-

SOONER VERY SOON! WE’LL BE BACK WITH BEST OF WINNING GAMES!!

AND WITH THE WITNESSES OF GOD’S MIRACLES AGAIN!!!

CHAK DE INDIA!

*AJEEB DAASTAAN HAI YEH*

WELCOME TO THE WEIRD WORLD!
This is no world different from the places where you live. It is at no distance…no time span away…it is here! Right here..where we stay…
“ajeeb duniya aur iske ajeeb log” I’m sure you haven’t heard this phrase for the first time in your life…
But here I’ll share my observations of this AJEEB DUNIYA AUR ISKE AJEEB LOG!
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·        <!--[endif]-->We want to be the richest, slog hard for it…so that we don’t have to compromise for big & small wants! But I reality the compromises, the adjustments become the joy of life.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·        <!--[endif]-->We always enjoy travelling in a bus/train/auto/bike…but a drive back home in the best of the cars is still what we strive for.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·        <!--[endif]-->Roadside paani puri is always delicious, but we still wish to go out for a 5star dinner.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·        <!--[endif]-->Compromising with monthly budgets & making ends meet is such a new experience every month & yet we hope for the time when we won’t have to look into our expense budgets.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·        <!--[endif]-->Whats shopping without bargaining…as long as it looks good…GUCCI or GUCHHI remain the same! Yet we are soo brand feverish!

Examples were few! But made sense, true?
Living life was never earning money! But in this over glammed, freaked out, the real dikhave ki duniya…are we losing out on ourselves?
Sometimes we fail to realize what makes us happy, what we want & we run behind what everyone terms as the the ULTIMATE KISMAT KI CHABI! THE KEY TO ALL SOLUTIONS…MONEY
*AJEEB DAASTAAN HAI YEH*

Insaan ki asli khubi to hamesha se rahi hai ki jo hai, jitna hai utne mein bhi kuch naya kar jaate hai, ek naya utsaah ek nai khushi le aate hai!
 par ab kya hua?
khud hi khud se dhokha kha gaye?

WARNING:
Don’t mix money with happiness! Illusions can be dangerous!!!

Gossip Girls

(The She Thing)

Gossip is the most easily associable 'she phenomena'. It’s like a fire that spreads...& it’s just never ending :) when it comes to women & gossip there's simply no boundary, no barrier & no wall that can kill this bonding! Any part of the country...from Kashmir to Kanyakumari...from Assam to Kutchh...any part of the world...from America to Japan...talk about a women being shy or hesitant but She'z ever ready to open her mouth to GOSSIp! What's happening with the neighbours & even what's happening with the strangers...women just can’t stop discussing. It’s like a stomach pain which can only be cured by blurting out the latest wasted events & analyzing their effects...if's & but's & relations & entanglements...& every impossible relations with the most irrelevant stances!
Don't overjudge me as a sexist...i’m a female too!
But lemme give you a live example..
"on my way to agra from delhi on board of the Bhopal Shatabdi my seat landed across three Punjabans, 2 women & a girl from neo rich families, society conscious enough who seem to have landed from the many many bollywood films like the bride & prejudice, bend it like beckham (with a well dressed sophisticated look)
We exchanged looks...nothing in particular! (no warmth & no grudges)
They were long engrossed in their gossip sessions concerning mutual friends & relatives & the unending cosmetic problems...(*tough job* eh! ) while my mum & I were keenly reading through the half a dozen newspapers that lay untouched on the table (versatility to the edges). Amidst the opposite activities across the tables my mum whispered in my ear, these are those Filmy kinda so called sophisticated Punjabans who love gossiping & spending their husbands earnings. I thought that this point hardly mattered, & chose to ignore the kind of biased comment. Ultimately their gossip seemed to be out of our minds.

But then all of a sudden I realised a sense of stiffness in the air when the tea set was served. Being a coffee-holic I requested for a coffee instead, a li'l after their daughter did. Her aunt made her coffee. But there was a surprise whisper (loud enough for me to hear) when I poured my entire re.1 satchet of nescafe in the warm water served in the cup. The comment was- Usne to poora packet hi daal diya coffee ka; dekh Ab itni kadvi lagegi Ki pee hi nahi payegi!
*stunned* *mixed emotions*...
I was totally taken back...this was the OMG moment! Did they ever drink coffee?? Are they mad??
Empty minded I thought! But ya, one comment was strong enough to ignite the urge to comment something; if not on their faces at least to my mum! To add fuel my mum started talking to me in a very unnatural tone and in Marathi! That was it…I chose to ignore them; hoping they’d shut up! Dint respond back to my mum too…
& ultimately got into writing this small piece off blog just to share very acceptingly the gossip girl phrase that has been a long famous tradition!!!
And even as I continue to type this on my phone…all the three ladies sitting right across the table are making endless points and efforts to discuss out grave issues like which brand to choose for a certain cosmetic & who has the costlier one! Whose husband is better and how everything is ready at their disposal!
Is it life that has seen too much of them or is it they who have ignored much of life that exists around them?

May be this explains me why haven’t I heard of the GOSSIP GUYS!  ;)

As I’m a step away from uploading it, the scene of experience still makes me grin… hats off to all the women in the world who make the WORLD OF GOSSIP! J

“CAUGHT & TRAPPED”

Recently I was listening to a song, definitely not for the first time…but a line in the verse caught my verse definitely for the first time, one line with a meaning so deep!
“Hai jahaan ki tujhko khabar; par khudse hi hai tu bekhabar”
And so is definitely the case…
Petrol prices hiked again by rs.1.82
SRK celebrated his b’day in a grand style yesterday!
Mr. sushilkumar from Bihar is the first ever to win rs.5 cr on KBC
Your college hottie broke up with her boy friend.
There’s a new club in your area.
And everything else that’s happening lately…
You’re just soo well versed! Take a stop, be frank & clear & temme how happy are you today? Everything going well in your life? Why did you fight with your best friend?
In this media frenzy world, we have become smart people indeed! Well connected with the ways and events of this world we have already begun to disconnect with ourselves, our thoughts, our feelings and what really goes on in our heart.

DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT!!!
Connect with yourself to connect with the world!
Caught  in the games of the world, trapped between feelings unknown!
